Where our regulatory information comes from.
Every license, inspection, and enforcement record displayed on WrenSong comes from public records maintained by the Arizona Department of Health Services (AZDHS). WrenSong does not create regulatory records or supplement them with unofficial information. If a regulatory record does not appear in the AZDHS data we collect, it will not appear on WrenSong.
How Often We Check for Updates
We check AZDHS records nightly for every facility we track. We look for new inspections and enforcement actions, as well as changes to license information or status. When we detect a change, we retrieve and update the facility's record.
Each facility page shows when its regulatory information was last checked. Although we check nightly, WrenSong is not a real-time service. There may be a delay between a change at AZDHS and its appearance on WrenSong.
Public records can also be incomplete, delayed, or later corrected. If a particular detail is important to your decision, confirm it directly with AZDHS or the facility.
Amenities Are Reported, Not Inferred
An amenity marked as confirmed is supported by information published on the facility's official website or provided directly by its operator.
WrenSong does not infer amenities from a facility's size, license type, category, photographs, or other characteristics. If an amenity is not marked as confirmed, that does not mean the facility lacks it. It means we do not yet have a source that meets our confirmation standard.
If a particular amenity matters to you, ask the facility to confirm that it is currently available and whether any restrictions or additional costs apply.
What the WrenSong Trusted Badge Means
The WrenSong Trusted badge is determined from a facility's public AZDHS regulatory record using our published eligibility criteria.
The badge cannot be purchased, upgraded, or influenced by whether a facility pays WrenSong or claims its profile. Claimed and unclaimed facilities are evaluated under the same criteria. Eligibility is recalculated automatically as new AZDHS information becomes available.

What Payment Cannot Influence
WrenSong does not charge families referral or placement fees. Facilities cannot pay to:
- Rank higher in search results
- Receive more prominent placement
- Change their WrenSong Trusted badge eligibility
Search results are ordered according to how closely facilities match the family's selected criteria.
If Something Looks Wrong
Public records and our copies of them can occasionally lag behind current information. If something on a WrenSong facility page appears inconsistent with the current AZDHS record, please report it to us. We will review it and correct any WrenSong error we find.

WrenSong is designed to make public information easier to find and understand. It is a starting point for your research, not a substitute for verifying information or evaluating a facility yourself. Before making a time-sensitive or important decision, confirm relevant details directly with AZDHS and the facility.
